Kids love jeopardy and I don't quite understand why.
If I can have them jumping out of their seat and screaming "ECOLOGICAL SUCCESSION!," I'll take it.

they love competition! i gave a 10 minute long final jeopardy question last week as an excuse for an extended response mathematics task and you could hear a pin drop in the room while those students solved and calculated and graphed.
i love it as much as they do!
